Quick Start Guide

Get your first competitive intelligence report in under 5 minutes.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Go to tryscoutmap.com

Click Get Started Free

Sign up with your email or Google account

Step 2: Add Your First Project

From the Dashboard, click New Project

Enter your website URL (e.g., yourcompany.com)

Add a project name

Click Create Project

Step 3: Run Your First Scan

Scout will automatically start analyzing your website. This takes about 90 seconds.

During the scan, Scout:

• Extracts your business information
• Identifies your target audience
• Analyzes your positioning
• Generates channel recommendations

Step 4: Review Your Insights

Once complete, you'll see your Intelligence Dashboard with:

• Business Snapshot - Quick overview of your business
• Six Intelligence Modules - Deep insights across all areas
• Recommended Actions - What to do next

Step 5: Add Competitors (Pro)

To unlock competitor analysis:

Go to your project's Insights page

Click Add Competitor

Enter competitor website URLs

Scout will analyze them automatically
